Youth Counselors

Location: West Park, NY

Our agency provides residential care and a therapeutic environment for emotionally disturbed and special education teen girls who are ages 12 - 18.

Youth counselors work a basic 40 hrs/week schedule as follows (and must be available for overtime, as required)

2nd Shift Youth Counselors work varied 5 day schedules from either 2 pm to 10 pm or 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

3rd Shift Youth Counselors work 4 ten hour days from 11 pm to 9 am on either Wednesday - Saturday schedule or a Sunday - Wednesday schedule.

Paid training is provided and overtime is required. Immediate openings available.

Requirements:
Valid NYS Driver’s License
HS/GED
Must be available to attend 5 days paid daytime training when hired

Base salary is $20,000 with additionoal salary given for experience and/or college credits earned. With a degree, the salary starts at $24,690 and goes up, based on related experience.

St. Cabrini Home is 90 miles north of NYC and 11 miles south of Kingston, NY.
